Hanley Wood Announces 40th World of Concrete Results
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- Hanley Wood Exhibitions has announced the results of the 40th Edition of World of Concrete, held January 20-24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The signature event for the concrete industry drew over 48,000 registered professionals, and featured more than 1,250 companies exhibiting across more than 570,000 net square feet of space.
“We are very proud of the contribution World of Concrete has made to the commercial concrete and masonry industries over the past 4 decades. Exhibitors and attendees were extremely satisfied with WOC 2014,” said Tom Cindric, Vice-President, Hanley Wood Exhibitions.
World of Concrete is the industry’s only annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries. The show features indoor and outdoor exhibits with the industry’s leading suppliers showcasing innovative products and technologies, exciting demonstrations and competitions, and a world-class education program. WOC’s first show in Las Vegas was in 1976; there were 103 exhibitors compared to more than 1,250 today. No other city has hosted more World of Concrete events. The first was in Houston in 1975. Since then all of the show’s attendance and square footage records have been set in Las Vegas.
