Three construction supply dealers won grand prizes, while five other dealers received merit awards.
The PROSALES Excellence Awards honor outstanding achievements in construction supply in showroom design, facility design, technology, marketing and customer service, advertising, and websites. The awards program celebrates business leaders whose creativity and ingenuity have not only improved and reinvigorated their own companies, but also set new benchmarks for service in the entire industry.

“The 2013 PROSALES Excellence Award winners created innovative technology, an exciting marketing plan and an inspired facility design that demonstrate the creative ways LBM dealers meet challenges and grow new business,” said Steve Campbell, editor, PROSALES magazine. “Sanford & Hawley turned a bad situation into a winner by using an opportunity afforded by a road project to completely redesign its century-old facility, while Main Street Lumber developed innovative technology that improves both operations and sales. Finally, Mathew Hall Lumber created an exciting marketing plan that actually helps build its pro customers’ businesses.”
As for the Merit Award winners, both Drexel Building Supply and Franklin Building Supply created websites that reach out to multiple audiences with a variety of web-based tools.
