Hapari Announces Winner of its Palm Desert Dream Getaway Contest
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) March 21, 2014 -- Hapari has selected Julie Harris of Wellsville, Kansas, as the grand prize winner of its Palm Desert trip giveaway. As the grand prize winner, Harris and one guest will receive a vacation package including accommodations for four days and three nights in Palm Desert, California, as well as airfare.
“We hosted this contest to celebrate the release of ‘Palm Desert,’ our new, limited-edition swimwear collection,” said Tasha Curry, team lead for Hapari’s design and marketing efforts. “Palm Desert is such a great destination. It’s always warm, sunny and relaxing, which is perfect following the winter most of the country has just experienced.”
Selected by an electronic drawing, Harris was chosen from a pool of more than 23,200 entries. First and second runners up were also chosen and awarded, respectively, with a $500 and $250 Hapari gift certificate to Hapari.com.
Harris will be taking her husband, Steven, to Palm Desert with her and says the trip will be the honey-moon they never got to take.
“This trip is really such a blessing!” said Harris on winning the grand prize. “My husband is from England, and the details involving his immigration made it difficult for us to plan a big wedding or honeymoon. So now, after being married for two years, we will finally get to take our honeymoon!”
The sweepstakes contest ran from February 18 - March 4 and was conducted through Hapari’s Facebook page. Fans were able to enter once per day and received a bonus entry for referring new entrants. Hapari previously hosted Tahiti trip giveaway in January.
