Hapari Swimwear Puts Swimsuit Model Search in the Hands of Fans
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- While swimsuit models are traditionally hired through modeling agencies and booking agents, Hapari Swimwear is looking to its social media fans on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to find the next face of the Hapari brand.
Contestants in Hapari’s 2014 Model Search Contest , which runs from October 4th through the 27th, will compete for a limited-time modeling contract with Hapari, which includes significant exposure through the Hapari blog, website, and social media channels in addition to a $2,500 cash prize.
Contestants need not have professional modeling experience to be eligible, and the winner will be selected by Hapari fans through a contest app on Hapari’s Facebook page. To enter the contest, women must simply submit a picture of themselves with a caption, as well as a short explanation of what inner beauty means to them.
From its founding, Hapari’s mission has been to make swimwear that enhances the natural beauty of women of all shapes and sizes, not just women of a certain body type. The model search contest is an extension of that vision, giving all women the chance to be recognized for their beauty, both inside and out.
Tasha Curry, production and design coordinator, at Hapari says, "We had so much fun with the model search in 2011 that we decided to do it again. We ended up taking two entrants in 2011, one of which, was Catey Ball, mother of 8 children and pregnant with her 9th during the shoot! We, at Hapari, are so inspired by women and want to help make one of them feel really special. It's very rewarding to watch the contest unfold and be apart of the winners' transformation."
