Harmony Information Systems, Inc. Changes Name to Mediware® Social & Human Services, Inc.
Lenexa, Kansas (PRWEB) September 22, 2015 -- Mediware Information Systems, Inc. announced today that Harmony Information Systems, Inc. will change its name to Mediware Social & Human Services, Inc. The name change is part of Mediware’s effort to align the Company brand with Mediware’s position as a provider of solutions across the continuum of care for both medical and non-medical payers and providers.
The name change will not impact Harmony’s employees, products or overall operations. Support phone numbers and staff will remain the same. Existing contracts with Harmony Information Systems, Inc. and Synergy Software Technologies, Inc. will not be affected by the brand change because those legal entities will continue—only their names will change.
“We provide solutions that support the delivery of both medical and non-medical services,” stated Thomas Mann, President and CEO of Mediware. “Having the Harmony product suite represented under the Mediware name will further emphasize our commitment to person-centered care across the full care continuum,” Mann continued.
The Harmony software suite helps more than 40 state-level agencies empower their disabled and aging citizens to thrive in their homes and communities. The cloud-based system streamlines agency collaboration with caregivers and service organizations, making it easier to manage Medicaid, Medicare, and Older Americans Act-funded programs. The result is lower operational costs, rapid reimbursements and better client outcomes. The software is continually updated to comply with policy changes and industry best practices and is recognized as the most scalable, robust, and dependable platform in the industry, with more than 25,000 users.
The Harmony website has moved to the human services section of http://www.mediware.com, and Harmony products will now be represented as Mediware at future industry trade shows and events.
