Harold Colton-Max and Nomi Colton-Max to be Honored by Essex County Executive at Annual Jewish Heritage Celebration on April 29

West Orange, N.J. (PRWEB) April 21, 2015 -- Harold and Nomi Colton-Max will be honored at Essex County’s Annual Jewish Heritage Celebration on Wednesday, April 29, at 12:00 noon. The event will take place at the Essex County Hall of Records at 465 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in Newark. The Colton-Maxes will be given the Star of Essex County award by Joseph DiVencenzo, Jr., the Essex County Executive.

The couple serves the Jewish community in several important ways. Harold Colton-Max is marking his tenth year as the CEO of the Jewish Community Housing Corporation of Metropolitan New Jersey(JCHC), the non-profit organization that owns and manages four senior living communities within a traditional Jewish setting; three of them are in Essex County. Nomi Colton-Max is the board president of Congregation Beth El in South Orange. They will be recognized for their leadership, dedication to public service, and their commitment to improving the lives of Essex County residents.

The Jewish Heritage Celebration acknowledges the significant impact the Jewish community has had, and continues to have, on the character, culture and economic growth of Essex County. The program includes music, presentations and remarks from the honorees.

Harold Colton-Max will be honored in June at the JCHC’s Annual Dinner, in recognition of his many accomplishments and improvements in the lives of senior residents over the past decade. Their dedication to the community makes all of us better and our organization stronger.”
