San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) December 02, 2015 -- HarperElixir, a line of mind, body, spirit books from HarperOne, in conjunction with Gaia, the world’s largest on demand subscription video service dedicated to conscious media, today announced that Gaia will produce the television series “Luminas” featuring interviews with HarperElixir authors, the first such relationship for Gaia with a major publisher.
The first episode premieres on December 3, 2015 with Don Miguel Ruiz, international bestselling author of The Four Agreements and the just published The Toltec Art of Life and Death. Forthcoming interviews will include authors and experts in the mind, body, spirit realm such as Arielle Ford, Carol Pearson, Guru Jagat, among others.
The 30 minute in-depth author interviews will be filmed at Gaia’s state-of-the art television studio near Boulder, Colo., some in front of a live studio audience. The segments can be viewed wherever Gaia programming is currently available; on Gaia.com, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, and Roku. HarperElixir and Gaia will promote the interviews via respective websites and social media channels.
“We are extremely excited to work with Gaia in order to bring our experts and teachers in the vibrant and growing conscious living community to a highly-engaged audience,” said HarperElixir senior vice president and publisher Claudia Riemer Boutote. “We share a common goal to offer tools to inspire, educate, awaken and transform. Our motto at HarperElixir is ‘past, present, possible.’ Gaia reflects that same spirit in its programming. HarperElixir is dedicated to publishing books for today’s seeker that celebrate and explore the essence of the human spirit, from ancient wisdom to modern life, and Gaia is equally dedicated to delivering that wisdom through modern channels to their audiences.”
“We are continually looking for innovative ways to add service and value for our authors and to extend their message to a wider audience,” adds HarperOne senior vice president and publisher, Mark Tauber. “This first-of-its-kind relationship with Gaia provides our authors new opportunities to reach their most passionate constituencies through streaming video, and opens the door for the Gaia brand to reach a broader array of readers and booksellers.”
“Gaia’s curated content is a guide for people on their paths to awakening,” said Jaymi Bauer, Gaia’s chief marketing officer. “Working with HarperElixir enables Gaia to add to our library of original programming with unique teachings and stories of renowned authors.”
