Harrah’s Rincon to Debut New Pools and Restaurant July 13
Valley Center, CA (PRWEB) July 02, 2013 -- Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort will unveil its newly expanded pool area and a new restaurant during the resort’s grand opening celebration on Saturday, July 13, 2013. The pool and restaurant, named Dive and ‘ritas Cantina, respectively, make up the first phase of Harrah’s Rincon’s $160 million expansion.
Dive will feature a trifecta of pools: Harrah’s newly renovated main pool, a brand new lazy river and Southern California’s only swim-up bar. Also debuting July 13 is Adult Swim Saturdays: a 21-and-up dayclub featuring world renowned DJs every week through September. In addition to three pools, Dive boasts nine hot tubs and 30 VIP areas including 21 cabanas and nine daybeds for guests to enjoy.
Harrah's has partnered with Five Group, the parent company of four of San Diego's biggest production companies (DJhere, Dtown, SFiNX and TK Productions), for Adult Swim Saturdays to ensure a Las Vegas-style dayclub party and production. Las Vegas resident DJ Vice will kick off opening weekend of Adult Swim Saturdays, and Dive will showcase big name talent this summer including live electronic dance music (EDM) DJs. Other weekly events at Dive will include Reggae Sundays and Service Industry Mondays.
‘ritas Cantina will be a full-service indoor-outdoor Mexican restaurant featuring casual Baja-inspired fare and specialty margaritas using fresh, seasonal ingredients, including the Avocado ‘rita, Pepper Melon ‘rita and Cucumber ‘rita. The restaurant will include a food truck that opens up to the interior of the resort, allowing guests to order grab-and-go items.
Harrah’s will offer shuttles to and from the resort from locations throughout Southern California, as well as packages offering various levels of VIP access, reserved entry, hotel and dining options. Other elements of the Harrah’s expansion include a 23,000-square-foot convention and entertainment center, a new lobby lounge and a craft beer and wine bar, all opening by December 2013. Additional parking and a 403-room hotel tower, which will bring the total number of rooms on property to 1,065, will open in spring 2014, completing the expansion.
