Harris Communications Adds New Model of Pocketalker® to Product Line
Eden Prairie, MN (PRWEB) December 17, 2015 -- Harris Communications, a provider of assistive devices for deaf and hard of hearing people, recently added the new Pocketalker 2.0 from Williams Sound to their product line. The Pocketalker 2.0 personal amplifier is an upgrade from the Pocketalker Ultra— a personal amplifier with 50dB amplification that amplifies sound within small group settings while reducing background noise.
The new Pocketalker 2.0 personal amplifier has up to 63dB amplification with tone control, and a balance control between the left and right ear. It features an omnidirectional internal microphone that can be used with its plug-in microphone for better sound pick-up. The Pocketalker 2.0 can also be used as a t-coil receiver in looped areas.
The outside casing of the new Pocketalker is long and narrow with a more ergonomic design than the older model Pocketalker.
The Pocketalker 2.0 has up to 105 hours of use with 2 AAA batteries. It has a USB port for charging rechargeable batteries. (Rechargeable Battery Kit sold separately.)
Now available at Harris Communications, the Pocketalker 2.0 (WS-PKT2.0) retails for $189.00 and includes dual earbuds, folding headphone, plug-in microphone, 12" TV amplifying extension cord, 2 AAA batteries, belt clip and lanyard.
