Harris School Solutions Acquires Media-X
Ottawa, ON (PRWEB) July 15, 2016 -- Harris School Solutions, the premier provider of technology software in the K-12 and Continuing Education markets, announces the recent share purchase of Media-X: a provider of robust web-based, mobile-connected observation, evaluation and assessment solutions supporting K-12 and post-secondary educators in the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe.
The purchase of Ottawa, Ontario-based Media-X further increases Harris School Solutions’ presence in the K-12 Information Systems market. As part of Harris School Solutions’ continuing expansion, the acquisition will allow the company to leverage Media-X’s content and professional partners while providing clients with an application suite designed to improve data collection and analysis.
Media-X is the developer of the MXWEB® platform and the evaluation and assessment applications that run on it such as eWalk®, iCoach®, eTeacher®, mVal® and the Marzano Gradebook. Their FlipForLearning™ software provides a video-based environment to support flipped learning by teachers around the world.
