Harris School Solutions and Brevard Public Schools Strengthen Partnership to Close CrossPointe Gaps and Move Closer to Production
Lake Mary, Florida (PRWEB) July 24, 2015 -- Harris School Solutions (Harris) and Brevard Public Schools have taken the first of what will be many positive steps towards successfully moving the new CrossPointe solution into production for Brevard. Harris recently acquired all of the assets of CrossPointe, LLC; a provider of a suite of K-12 products that incorporates accounting, payroll, finance, human resource and related ERP functionality. CrossPointe has been in the spotlight recently and was the subject of an inquiry by Brevard Public Schools into payments made to CrossPointe for an enterprise software solution that had indefinite delivery timelines and an uncertain future.
The purchase of CrossPointe’s assets by Harris has provided Brevard Public Schools with much needed answers to their on-going concerns about CrossPointe, LLC and the future of the CrossPointe solution at Brevard.
According to Brevard Public School’s Board Chair, Amy Kneessy, “Harris School Solutions came into the picture just in the nick of time. They took charge of a difficult situation from day one. We have been impressed with their professionalism, swift action and we believe that Brevard Public Schools can feel confident that we now have a new vendor committed to our success.”
Tim Fitzgerald, Senior Executive Vice President of Harris School Solutions said Tuesday that Harris acted immediately upon learning about the delayed delivery of CrossPointe software to the Brevard Public Schools. During a presentation at the Brevard Public Schools board meeting, Fitzgerald stated, “Harris is devoting more resources to completing this enterprise project and will be rapidly implementing improved processes, communication and management so that we can bring the CrossPointe solution to completion for Brevard.”
Brevard School Board Member Karen Henderson has stated, “This is a very positive change of events for Brevard Public Schools. We look forward to our partnership with Harris and to making Brevard a Harris 'showcase' client.”
