Hartford Business Journal Names Christian J. Renstrom Advertising Director
Hartford, Conn. (PRWEB) June 12, 2015 -- Christian J. Renstrom has joined the Hartford Business Journal as the company's new Advertising Director, it was announced today.

Renstrom has an extensive background in regional publishing and event production/management, having served as Vice President & General Manager of Marketing Resource Consultants, Inc., publishers of Hartford Magazine, Home Living Connecticut Magazine, Connecticut Business Magazine, Mohegan Sun’s Legends Magazine and the Hoffman Auto Group’s Decades Magazine and producers of Best of Hartford, Sun WineFest and the Home Living Connecticut Home Show. He most recently served as Vice President & General Manager of Seasons Magazines, publishers of Seasons of Farmington Valley, Seasons of West Hartford, Seasons of Glastonbury and Seasons of the Northwest Hills.
With his command of the print, digital and events business, Renstrom is ideally suited to represent every aspect of the value proposition that the Hartford Business Journal offers. In addition to his print media background, Renstrom was Vice President of Corporate Relations & Special Events with Special Olympics Connecticut and Vice President of Business Development & Marketing with The Worx Group. He spent his early career in the wireless communications industry, in senior management sales and marketing roles with Cingular Wireless and Verizon Wireless and played an integral role with both companies brand launches and sales/retention efforts in Connecticut.
Renstrom currently serves as a Board Member for the Eastern Connecticut State University Foundation and the Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame. He also spent seven years on the Special Olympics Connecticut Board of Directors where he was a Board Officer. He earned his B.S. in Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University and lives in West Hartford with his two daughters.
