Haunted Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, and Ghost Walks set to provide a “Spooky Thrill” for Visitors
Maynardville, TN (PRWEB) September 29, 2013 -- Through the end of October, visitors to Union County are sure to find a spooky event to experience. Oakes’ Farm thrills visitors with its family friendly attractions including the popular “Trail of Doom,” an intricate corn maze, a pumpkin patch and this year’s newest hayride attraction titled - “Thriller Night of Lights.”
Big Ridge State Park in Union County has a long-standing reputation for spooky stories. Every Friday and Saturday in October, rangers lead a 1.2-mile easy to moderate Ghost House Trail.
Ground zero for the park’s haunted loop begins near the group camp and takes you deep into the history of this area's pre-1930s inhabitants. According to locals and some park visitors, eerie and unexplainable events occur along this trail. Reservations are required.
