Strokes4Hope is an annual golf tournament which raises funds for Sutter Roseville Medical Foundation, the research efforts of Dr. Hope Rugo, medical oncologist and hematologist at UCSF, and to help local families currently fighting cancer. The fifth annual Strokes4Hope tournament will be held on October 7, 2016, and will be a fun day of golf, laughter and contests with wonderful prizes given throughout the course. The day culminates with a light-hearted dinner and raffle. The much-anticipated event is sponsored by the Whitney Ranch Charitable Foundation, which strives to impact the community through funding specific research projects, encouraging business and community participation in programs and events, and teaching children the importance of giving back to their community.
