Havana BID to Give Away Over $1000 to Aurora Holiday Shoppers
Aurora, Colorado (PRWEB) November 19, 2013 -- The Havana Business Improvement District (BID), dba On Havana Street, is sponsoring a bevy of holiday activities and giving away $1,000 to make shopping in Aurora more magical this holiday season.
"Shopping in Aurora this holiday season will be full of music, mirth and wonderful little surprises for those who choose to support businesses on Havana Street," said Havana BID Executive Director Gayle Jetchick. "We’ve found ways to help our member merchants and our shoppers and have lots of fun doing it."
Ten Aurora shoppers will win $100 to help stretch their gift-buying budgets. Entry Forms and boxes will be available by Thanksgiving and through noon on December 11 at seven locations:
• The Summit Steakhouse, 2700 S. Havana Street
• Havana Street Station, 1911 S. Havana Street
• Key Bank at The Gardens on Havana
• The English Teacup, 1930 S. Havana Street
• Noodles & Company at The Gardens on Havana
• Klassye Creations, 2790 S. Havana Street
• Massage Envy at The Gardens on Havana
The drawing for the winners will be held at the Ugly Sweater Party on Wednesday, December 11, at The Summit Steakhouse. In addition to the $1,000 Shopping Spree winners, the person wearing the ugliest holiday sweater, as voted by attending partygoers, will be awarded $100 cash.
On Small Business Saturday, November 30, shoppers at The Gardens on Havana will be treated to holiday caroling. The Aurora Singers will start at Toys & Babies "R" Us at The Gardens on Havana at 2:00 PM and go store to store for two hours.
Aurora shoppers may be pleasantly surprised on the afternoon of Saturday, December 7. Havana BID "Secret Santas" will approach shoppers on Havana Street and presenting them with candy canes and gift cards for Havana BID member merchants.
Aurora shoppers are also encouraged to visit Havana Street on Friday, November 29, to support local merchants and take advantage of various Black Friday specials.
