Haystax Appoints Chriss Knisley as Vice President of Analytic Sales to Lead Growing Suite of Advanced Analytics Solutions
McLean, Va. (PRWEB) January 26, 2015 -- Haystax Technology Inc., a developer of next-generation intelligence and analytics solutions, announced today that Chriss Knisley was appointed as vice president of analytics sales and business development to further develop the organization’s advanced analytics platforms. Knisley joins Haystax to expand the organization’s recent success providing local, state and federal law enforcement agencies with their Public Safety Cloud suite -- which is utilized by 15 of the top 20 urban areas in the U.S. -- and to manage the growing portfolio of insider threat detection solutions.
Knisley brings a wealth of experience within the field of advanced analytics products across a range of markets, having held previous senior positions at IBM where he was responsible for developing global market strategy and revenue pipeline for their corporate initiatives. Prior to IBM, Knisley served as the assistant vice president, market strategy, at i2 Inc., which helped law enforcement, national security, defense and commercial organizations detect, investigate and combat criminal and terrorist activity. In this role, Knisley was instrumental in spearheading the i2 Inc. acquisition by IBM into its Smarter Cities business unit.
“I am excited to start a new challenge within Haystax and look forward to working with the team to further grow our business by expanding our robust advanced analytics applications and service suite,” said Knisley. “I am fortunate to be joining an organization that fosters innovation, creative thinking, and imaginative engineering to provide actionable threat intelligence directly to decision makers in the public and business communities.”
“Knisley’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Haystax family. We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to leading the public safety and analytics industry.” said William B. Van Vleet III, CEO of Haystax. “With our new advances and an increasing demand from customers, we are excited to add to our executive bench to drive growth and innovation around our public safety innovation.”
Knisley will work closely with newly-promoted Bryan Ware, president of analytics, and Marianne Meins, senior vice president of strategic initiatives, to spearhead the advanced analytics division and assist with the launch of several new innovative products to be released in the coming months.
