MONTEREY, Calif. Later in the year, Hayward acquired a bigger property with freeway visibility and better access. The new location, which is more conveniently laid out and offers superior customer service, stocks a broader range of lumber and building materials than were available at the original site. “Our new lumberyard and hardware store will expand Hayward’s Bay Area presence and give us the opportunity to grow our business by better serving our local customers.
