Hayward Opens New Truss Manufacturing Facility in Santa Maria
Monterey, Calif. (PRWEB) June 01, 2016 -- Hayward has opened a new roof truss manufacturing facility in Santa Maria, California. To commemorate the completion of a new truss manufacturing facility in Santa Maria, Hayward Lumber, the Home Builders Association, the Santa Maria Contractor’s Association, the Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce and many of Hayward’s customers will hold a Grand Opening Celebration and a ribbon cutting ceremony by Mayor Alice Patino.
The free event will be held on June 16, 2016 between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM at the new facility, located at the back of the current Hayward Lumber location at 800 West Betteravia Road in Santa Maria. The event will include a mixer and a barbecue to welcome the new facility into the Hayward Lumber location. This mixer will be a great opportunity to rub elbows with local builders and local officials, to chat with Bill Hayward, and to grab some great food & drink. Not only did the new facility create thirty new jobs for the Santa Maria area, but it also cleaned up the location, which had been polluted from previous industrial usage. “We are excited to be manufacturing our roof trusses in Santa Maria, and we are pleased have been able to clean up a polluted industrial site at the same time. Hayward’s new Truss facility manufactures quality plated wood trusses and FSC wood trusses for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects. In addition, the facility produces Hayward’s proprietary Fast Floor system for all seven Hayward locations, from Santa Barbara to Redwood City in the San Francisco Bay Area. Hayward also delivers roof trusses to the Bakersfield area and to other valley locations.
Hayward uses only high-quality lumber and precision automated saws and assembly equipment to produce roof trusses for any style and size of roofing system. Hayward designs the most efficient roof system possible within the constraints specified by the structural engineer. Hayward value engineers each project, optimizing the plan to ensure the most cost efficient truss system possible. Hayward uses state-of-the-art technology, manufacturing all trusses to order and to specification and then delivering on time, as promised, based on its customers’ production schedule and needs.
