Health and Fitness Expert Samir Becic Promotes Water to the World During an Extreme Workout
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) April 22, 2015 -- World renowned health and fitness expert Samir Becic, founder of nonprofit Health Fitness Revolution, created an original video in which he reveals one of the key elements to a healthy lifestyle: drink plenty of water on a daily basis. His video message, which was done during his extreme treadmill workout, was created in an effort to motivate Americans to drink more water in order to stay healthy and fit. In the video, he explains how sufficient amounts of water can boost the immune system, reduce your hunger levels, promote weight loss, improve hydration and give you younger, healthier looking skin.
The extreme video features Becic doing stunts not recommended for the public, jogging backwards and changing directions on a treadmill while simultaneously talking about the key benefits of drinking water.
"The rate at which Americans are becoming overweight and obese is increasing at an alarming rate," Becic said. "The vast majority of Americans are living an unhealthy lifestyle and battling health conditions such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. But the good news is that 60 to 70 percent of those diseases can be prevented or controlled by living a healthy lifestyle. And one of the first and most basic principles to being healthier is drinking sufficient amounts of water.
“Two-thirds of the human body is made of water. Every cell in our body requires water to function, survive and thrive. This is why it is so important to consume at least 10 to 12 glasses into our system a day, but I recommend increasing that number to really get the wide ranging benefits of water in your body."
Approximately 70 percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated and often mistake feelings of thirst for feelings of hunger. In addition, lack of a sufficient amount of water intake is the No. 1 trigger of daily fatigue. Becic recommends drinking a large glass of water upon waking in the morning due to the fact that the body goes through a period of dehydration overnight. Drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning can also boost the digestive and metabolic systems.
In addition to the benefits mentioned in the video, other benefits include improved sleep, higher energy levels and reduced risk of kidney stones.
