Healthentic Encourages Philanthropy, Helps Neighbors by Donating to United Gospel Mission
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) December 26, 2013 -- Ending the year on a positive note, the Seattle-based team at Healthentic has given back to their community by fundraising for the Seattle Union Gospel Mission.
The Union Gospel Mission (UGM) is committed to providing both long and short-term care to the area’s homeless and impoverished community. The UGM has been helping to care for and rehabilitate the less fortunate in King County for over 80 years, and they do so through donations of goods, money and time.
Each year Healthentic fundraises for a local charity during the holiday season.
"Every day our company strives to be meaningful to those whom we serve by encouraging healthy workplace lifestyles. During the holidays it is increasingly important to be just as meaningful to our community and serve those around us," said Herbert Ong, Healthentic's CEO.
Items donated by Healthentic this year included coats, hand warmers, undergarments, calculators and paper goods.
