HealthMed Inc, helps Burr & Forman become one of the 2015 Healthiest 100 Workplaces

The Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America recently did just that when it named law firm Burr & Forman LLP one of the 2015 Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America. A client of HealthMed’s for five years, Burr & Forman landed at No. 9 on this year’s list of the Healthiest 100 Workplaces.

To help Burr & Forman achieve its wellness goals — and ultimately earn its place on the Healthiest 100 list — HealthMed worked closely with the law firm on a number of different initiatives. Those included developing a custom approach for Burr & Forman that incorporated HealthMed’s on-site biometric screenings, health fairs and a series of wellness challenges and incentives.
In determining which workplaces make the list, the Healthiest 100 uses a detailed two-part scoring process that assesses employers on everything from culture and communications to reporting, analysis and more. Specific results from the HealthMed screenings and detailed information from the wellness program played a key role in Burr & Forman’s place on the list.
Although HealthMed is happy to have helped Burr & Forman land high on this year’s list, Webster said sustained success takes continued commitment all around. Soon after Burr & Forman received news of their award, Webster was back in Orlando for another HealthMed biometric screening with the firm.
