HealthTeacher Names Roy A. Ziegler as President and Chief Operating Officer
(PRWEB) September 27, 2013 -- Roy Ziegler has been named the company’s first President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Ziegler brings a broad scope of experiences to HealthTeacher, namely his expertise in healthcare and information technology services industries as an executive and investor. Ziegler’s appointment and the creation of this leadership role are in direct support of HealthTeacher’s continued growth and expansion of the company’s customer base and product lines.
Previously, Ziegler served as the Executive Vice President of First Consulting Group, where he was a member of the firm’s executive committee. Ziegler’s background also includes venture investing, most recently as a venture partner of Chrysalis Ventures, an investor in HealthTeacher, and previously with Health Evolution Partners, and Partech International.
“As HealthTeacher continues its rapid growth and we introduce new products like GoNoodle, we recognized the need to expand the leadership team to help scale our efforts to positively impact youth health,” said Scott McQuigg, CEO of HealthTeacher, Inc. "Roy brings proven experience in helping businesses deliver growth and scale operations. A plus is Roy has been consulting with us over the past year, so he already knows our business and customers."
