Hearing Aid Store in Brooklyn, Ohio is Raffling Off A Pair of Hearing Aids through Feb 21
Brooklyn, Ohio (PRWEB) February 16, 2014 -- On February 11, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., Zounds Hearing of Greater Cleveland celebrated the grand opening of its first hearing aid store, at Ridge Park Square, with a ribbon cutting performed by Mayor Richard Balbier of Brooklyn and Zounds franchise owner Glenn Harbold of Cleveland. “The city of Brooklyn is proud and honored to have Zounds Hearing here to serve our community,” stated Mayor Balbier.

Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President, David Hill, and Chamber Vice President, David Nodge, were in attendance to present Zounds with its membership plaque. “It's a fantastic business for our community - an excellent service that’s really right now,” commented Hill. “This location also provides easy access for all our residents,” stated Nodge.
Zounds Hearing was founded in 2005 by Sam Thomasson, an electrical engineer who developed 57 patents in a quest to develop high-performance, but affordable technology for his hearing-impaired daughter. Franchise store owner, Harbold, an engineer by training, was impressed with Thomasson’s commitment to his daughter and other hearing loss clients. “I’m inspired by Sam’s passion to bring affordable, quality hearing to more people by bringing down the price of these top technologies,” he said. Zounds hearing aids are priced between $1,500-3,500 per pair, which is about half the price of other premium brands.
Five more Zounds Hearing stores are planned for locations throughout Greater Cleveland, each in shopping plazas with easy access for seniors. “We strive for a comfortable and reliable fitting experience,” says Harbold. “A licensed hearing specialist, who is overseen by a licensed Doctor of Audiology, performs the free hearing test and custom-fitting for the client, so that the client can walk out of the store with improved hearing in about two hours.” The store’s hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00a.m. – 5:00 p.m., for a hearing test, with other appointments by request.
