Heart Gallery of Broward County Announces Spring for Kids Fundraising Event at Truluck’s
Fort Lauderdale, Florida (PRWEB) April 18, 2014 -- The Heart Gallery of Broward County will be hosting a fundraising event along with Galleria Mall at Truluck’s on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. The event will be an important fundraiser for the organization and monies raised will support their mission to promote the adoption and enrichment of Broward’s foster children.
“This will be a fun event and we will be honoring four people who have been advocates for children in Broward,” stated Yvette DuBose, Executive Director of the Heart Gallery of Broward County. “Each of them have given their time and resources and we would like to recognize them for their work,” she added.
The event is open to the public and will be from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Truluck’s at the Galleria Mall located at 2584 East Sunrise Boulevard. There will be cocktails and delicious appetizers and complimentary valet parking. The Heart Gallery of Broward County asks for a $75 donation per person to enrich the lives of the children they work with.
The Heart Gallery of Broward County is working with J.M. Field Marketing, a corporate sponsor of the organization, to help market this event through public relations and the Heart Gallery website. And, they are working with corporate sponsor Bitner Goodman associated with Galleria Mall who has underwritten the event.

The Heart Gallery’s mission is to provide innovative programs that help to promote the adoption and enrichment of Broward’s foster children. It is one of over 100 independent heart galleries across the country. We work closely with ChildNet and the local foster care providers to seek adoptive families and other connections for these children. The first exhibit was introduced in April of 2007.
The Heart Gallery of Broward County is a traveling photography exhibit of foster children who are waiting to be permanently adopted. The Gallery is unique: in concept- it is displayed in many public places just like an art exhibit- and in execution- every photograph is a vibrant composition taken by a professional photographer.
