Heartland Announces All-New Exclusive Series
Chattanooga, Tennessee (PRWEB) February 23, 2015 -- Luken Communications, LLC and The Heartland Network, LLC, in cooperation with TruealityTV, are proud to announce the addition of the all-new, original television series Misty & Kristy to Heartland’s programming lineup. The series will premiere on Tuesday, April 7 at 8:00 p.m. E/P.
Misty & Kristy follows the real-life escapades of blonde identical twins Misty and Kristy Miller as they manage their family’s multi-million dollar logging business in Honaker, Virginia. While Stevens Lumber Company is a stepping stone for Misty & Kristy, the show revolves around family and fun. Misty and Kristy are both avid outdoorswomen, active in hunting, fishing, off-roading and motorcycling and Heartland’s viewers will be along for it all.
Although Misty and Kristy are identical twins, you’d be hard-pressed to find sisters more opposite. Misty, a single mother and former nurse, is a mischievous rebel and a free spirit. Kristy is down-to-earth and deeply devoted to her husband, Shannon. The sisters’ unique chemistry is the heart of the show, by turns loving and competitive, and provides viewers with an infinite supply of misadventures.
The first season will feature appearances by country music artist Danny Gokey, racecar driver Robby Gordon, Biker Battleground’s Jim Moore, former NFL player Andre Wadsworth and several major league baseball players. Misty and Kristy will also take a road trip, following their lumber from harvest to the production of Zinger Bats, where they meet with owner Scott Hanish.
