Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) September 29, 2016 -- While automotive road service is a life saver in times of car trouble, it may not be available in bad weather when the demand for service is high. That’s exactly when an idea conceived of by an inventor from Columbus, Ohio would allow the motorist to avoid the need for assistance.
He developed Melt Away to melt snow and ice that forms on a motor vehicle parked outside in winter weather. As such, it prevents automobile locks from freezing. At the same time, it keeps the car clean and free of moisture, dirt and dust. It, therefore, saves time and effort because there is no need to brush snow and scrape ice off of the automobile. It also reduces the chances of the driver being stranded in bad weather because of frozen locks. In addition, it is easy to apply, remove and store.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “My car was parked outside on a cold winter day, and when it was time to leave, I couldn’t get into the car,” he said. “The door locks had frozen. So I wanted to make sure this did not happen again.”
