Heaven on Earth to Benefit Frederick Community
Frederick, Maryland (PRWEB) August 11, 2016 -- On Saturday, August 27, Heaven On Earth, a Frederick-based wellness business, will host the 1st Back to School Bash, a family friendly event, with free activities for kids, that features over 25 vendors from Frederick and the surrounding areas. Heartly House and Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership (SHIP) of Frederick County will each receive 25% of the proceeds from vendor fees.
“This year I began organizing community events and I wanted to create an event that focused on giving back to the kids in Frederick County in a fun way while also benefiting non-profits that I believe in. As a graduate of Frederick County Public Schools, I commend the work of SHIP of Frederick County and support their efforts 100%. As the founder of a wellness company focusing on self-care, I wholeheartedly admire what Heartly House does for their clients and employees. Both are amazing organizations!”, said Casey Clark, Founder and Chief Wellness Officer of Heaven On Earth.
The Back to School Bash has free admission and free activities for families. Mandy the clown will be providing entertainment including balloon twisting and tricks on her unicycle, we’ll have a photobooth by J.H Photography, face painting, caricature drawings and even free back to school haircuts by ColeKutz, a local barber and image consultant. There will also be several small businesses and independent consultants offering a multitude of products and services.
“I’m beyond excited about this event simply because it gives back to my community in more ways than one. I want this event to be a place where families can go and have a few hours of fun without having to worry about the costs. Myself and the vendors are very excited about giving back to the non-profits who help our community, too!”, said Clark.
