Heidel House Resort & Spa Welcomes Brew Enthusiasts for an Evening of Wisconsin Craft Beer on the Shores of Green Lake
Green Lake, Wis. (PRWEB) January 31, 2014 -- More than 100 Wisconsin microbrews will be available for tasting during Heidel House Resort & Spa's third annual Heidel House Brew Fest on Saturday, March 22. From 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. guests are invited to mingle among representatives from Wisconsin microbreweries and sample both new and classic microbrews in their souvenir tasting glass.
The expanded brewery list makes this the largest Heidel House Brew Fest yet. The event will be held throughout the Wisconsin lakeside resort's Dartford Ballroom, Sandstone and BoatHouse Pub. Palate-cleansing appetizers and live entertainment by Dan Braaksma and Jason Davis will also be provided.
All breweries in attendance will offer four different beers that will compete for the title of the 2014 People’s Choice. Each guest will have the opportunity to cast a vote for their favorite flavor of the evening to determine the winner. The 2013 People’s Choice was awarded to Door County Cherry Wheat from Shipwrecked Brewery of Egg Harbor.
A few of the newcomers to the event are 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. of Sheboygan, Door County Brewing Co. of Baileys Harbor and Wisconsin Brewing Co. of Verona. Past favorites will also be in attendance including Hinterland Brewery of Green Bay, Lakefront Brewery of Milwaukee, New Glarus Brewing Co. and many more. View a complete brewery list.
