Help Little Dylan Cooney Fundraising Campaign Create Buzz
Newport News, Virginia (PRWEB) May 19, 2014 -- On Sunday, June 1, 2014, the family of Dylan Cooney will begin accepting donations for Dylan, who currently has Wilms Tumor, a childhood cancer that has spread from the kidneys to Dylan’s abdominal area.
With less than three weeks to go before the fundraiser begins, the Cooney family feels that it is very important for the public to help spread the word about Dylan’s cause prior to June 1 in order for the campaign to become a vital success.
The family is asking for public assistance to help promote Dylan’s campaign through social networking.
To create the publicity the campaign needs, individuals have to share or post Dylan’s campaign link on Go Fund Me to social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google Plus, news blogs and various other sources of communication.
For example, on Facebook, post Dylan’s link on Facebook news feeds, Facebook groups, message Facebook friends and get friends to do the same.
As far as Twitter, include Dylan’s link in tweets when tweeting to followers and have followers retweet the link to other followers.
Email, text family and friends about the campaign and have love ones share the information as well.
Other than social networking, the campaign also needs the coverage of traditional journalists and bloggers.
The journalists and bloggers can inform contacts in order to obtain even more popularity about Dylan’s fundraiser.
Currently, Dylan’s fundraising link at Go Fund Me is live, but the family prefers not to accept donations until it begins on June 1, 2014.
In the meantime, all the Cooney family asks is to create buzz so that campaign can generate the money Dylan needs from the first day to have a successful campaign and most importantly, a successful surgery and rehab.
