Helping Churches Move from Inaction to Action
Augusta, GA (PRWEB) May 15, 2014 -- Church leaders came together to exchange ideas on effective outreach strategies on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Augusta First Assembly of God Columbia County Campus. Participation was key to the workshop’s success, prompting Wanda Mullins from Whole Life Ministries to mention that “the people who know me would be surprised because I never talk this much at church”.
Discussions included an outreach emphasis utilizing Vacation Bible School or Backyard Bible Clubs and how to make the church’s follow up strategies more important than the outreach event itself. In other words, the fish that are caught are more important than the mere act of fishing.
This free Reach and Engage workshop revealed how implementing integrated communication and outreach solutions, provided by the Move the Mountain System, helps mobilized church bodies in order to see God’s commandment fulfilled and His Kingdom advanced. Leaders learned how to better engage by “Turning Groups into Teams, Intentions into Reality”.
