Henderson Properties Hosts 10th Annual HOA Legal Seminar
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) May 11, 2017 -- Henderson Properties, a leading HOA and property management firm serving the greater Charlotte area, is proud to have hosted its 10th annual HOA Legal Seminar. Held Tuesday, May 9, the seminar brought to light a number of legal concerns that affect today's homeowners' associations. The seminar was held at the Marriott SouthPark.
Henderson Properties uses the HOA Legal Seminar to tackle the challenging legal topics that specifically affect community associations and their leadership. The 2017 seminar brought in three attorneys from Sellers, Ayers, Dortch, Lyons to discuss a number of important topics. The seminar was entitled "Collections, Corporate Record Requests, Violations and Other Issues that Drive Board Members Nuts."
"Our goal through hosting this HOA Legal Seminar," said Phil Henderson, President of Henderson Properties, "is to give HOA board members actionable steps they can take to understand and address these complex legal issues. We also wish to provide a forum for them to get answers to the questions they have that may not be addressed by the seminar's particular topic."
After the three attorneys address the questions in the discussion, the floor was opened for a question and answer session, followed by closing remarks.
Past events have been well-attended as HOA board members seek the answers to the questions they have. This year was a full house as well, with pertinent information provided that board members can use to help them enforce community policies and procedures and make decisions using good business judgment.
