Hendricks Commercial Properties, Ebates Expands into Ironworks, Beloit, WI
Beloit, WI (PRWEB) December 10, 2015 -- In response to their explosive growth, Ebates Inc. will move into a newly renovated 18,500 SF office space in the Ironworks complex in downtown Beloit owned by Hendricks Commercial Properties. The relocation allows Ebates to quadruple the size of their Beloit team since their initial move to Beloit in 2011. The space is currently under construction with a February, 2016 completion date.
Ebates started as The FatWallet headquarters which now includes operations for Ebates.com, BFAds.net, and FatWallet.com. With all of these operations being a part of this corporation, Ebates now operates the world’s most rewarding shopping programs. Ebates has distinct websites and reward programs to help consumers get great deals and earn money back every time they shop.
Kevin Johnson, CEO of Ebates, states “With our new facility, we are preparing for continued growth, drawing from the talented workforce of Beloit and surrounding communities and benefiting from the revitalization of the riverfront and downtown Beloit.”
“We are excited to add Ebates to our growing list of IT companies here at Ironworks,” says Mark Membrino, Vice President at Hendricks Commercial Properties. “Since we’re repurposing a former manufacturing space, we will have a strong industrial feel with lots of structural steel and brick while providing the most modern, high-tech amenities in a space with lots of natural light and river views. The design of the space was a joint effort between Hendricks and Ebates with Corporate Contractors, Inc as the general contractor. We anticipate that their new office will help to maintain and attract sustainable living wage jobs for the area.”
“Ebates and FatWallet have been a valued part of Beloit’s community since FatWallet relocated here in 2011. The company’s decision to expand into an 18,500 square foot space in the Ironworks will provide a long-term and sustainable solution for their office space needs. This project represents a significant capital investment on behalf of Hendricks Commercial Properties as the owner and developer of the Ironworks and will allow Ebates to retain and expand their workforce. The community applauds both Ebates and HCP on this noteworthy project announcement,” said Andrew Janke, Executive Director of the Greater Beloit Economic Development Corporation.
The Ironworks complex, owned by Hendricks Commercial Properties, is the redevelopment of the former one million square foot Beloit Corp headquarters in downtown Beloit, WI. Over the past 10 plus years, Hendricks has forged a private public partnership with the City of Beloit, Rock County and the State of Wisconsin working together to breathe new life into the property that once employed over 3500 people.
