Henry Horton Teaches About ‘Prototype for Salvation’ in New Book
Santa Monica, Calif. (PRWEB) March 16, 2015 -- Having spent 30 years of his life researching the Tabernacle of Moses, author Henry Horton was led to explore its relationship to mankind’s present-day salvation. Horton’s new book, “The Tabernacle of Moses: Our Prototype for Salvation in Jesus Christ” (published by WestBow Press) is the outpouring of a 12-week study taught on the relationship between Old and New testaments salvation.
“God’s original purpose was for mankind to rule over His creation,” Horton says. “Instead of aborting his plan when man sinned, God instituted a way for sinful man to be restored to his original position of righteousness.”
In “The Tabernacle of Moses,” Horton explains eternal salvation through Jesus Christ as a concept having roots in the Old Testament salvation plan of animal sacrifice. Horton offers a logical, sequential and spiritual presentation of what he calls a “prototype for salvation” taking the reader from the creation of man to the present day.
“The Old Testament tabernacle is the seedbed for New Testament salvation,” Horton says.
Horton documents his work with in-text scripture passages so readers do not have to search for scripture while reading, however he encourages readers to check the scriptures for accuracy and their own learning.
