Heritage Texas Properties Celebrates Top Producers and Record Year
Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- Heritage Texas Properties Broker/Owner, President and CEO Robin Mueck, and Executive Vice President and Principal, Jerry Mueck, along with the Heritage Texas Properties Leadership Team, honored HTP’s company-wide 2013 top producers and teams in a ceremony at the Houston Country Club. Addressing the audience of agents and staff members assembled from the company’s 16 offices, Robin Mueck said, “This is always my favorite day of the year because we come together to celebrate your success. This year in particular is very special for all of us. I want to acknowledge Jerry Mueck for ‘keeping a fierce eye on the target’ to help guide us to more than $1.2 billion in sales in 2013.”
Bob Hale, President and CEO of the Houston Board of Realtors, was the morning’s featured speaker. “I feel like I’m home with this group,” Hale said. “Congratulations on $1.2 billion in sales!” Hale posed the question, “Are we – our industry – meeting the needs of the consumer?” He touched on a number of issues that concern real estate consumers and professionals including agent rating systems, the dangers of non-MLS listings, and on-line transaction management tools. Hale concluded with the announcement that beginning in 2014, HAR will allow Texas real estate brokers state-wide to post their listings on HAR.com.
Reviewing company milestones for 2013, Mueck recognized the newest HTP office on Galveston Island and introduced Galveston top producer Sue Johnson. She also recognized the company’s New Braunfels office, added in early 2013 and headed by Lynn Zarr, Sr. Mueck told the crowd how Zarr and top-producing New Braunfels agent Jordan Walker had “really put a fire in that market.” She added that “demand for country properties is up” and referenced an 18-percent increase in sales for 2013.
Mueck presented the 2013 HTP Legend Award, an honor reserved for agents who exhibit outstanding professionalism, to Nancy Scott from the Memorial office and Jerry Blum from the Post Oak Park office, and the Heart of the House Award to Post Oak Park Operations Coordinator Rodalyn Summers. The award for Highest Dollar Volume in Closed Outgoing Referrals was given to Royal Oaks agent Amanda Walsh. Mueck also recognized retiring Senior Vice President Nancy Chamberlain for her 25 years of service and announced to enthusiastic applause that Chamberlain will continue to serve HTP as a consultant.
Chaille Ralph, Senior Vice President and 2014 HAR Chair, served as mistress of ceremonies for the production awards presentations. “These are extraordinary times and we honor extraordinary performers,” Ralph said. She began by recognizing Terry Stanfield, downtown office, with the company’s Overall Top Lister and Most Closed Transactions-Individual awards, and the Ellis-Nabors Team, Cypress office, with the Most Closed Transactions-Team Award.
Proceeding to the top awards, Ralph announced Brandy Heckeroth as Number-One Company-Wide Top Producer for a third consecutive year. Following Heckeroth in close production were: Number-One Company-Wide Team, the Ellis-Nabors Team, composed of Mark and Catherine Ellis, and Amy and Clint Nabors; Mike Mahlstedt; Haley Garcia; Lynn Zarr, Jr.; the Tammy Hendricks Team; Terry Stanfield; Mary Kay Casey; Kathy Jones; the Mike Gray Team; Jeffrey Kuchar; Pam Hughes; Amanda Walsh; Philip Thomas; the Bill and Sally Boone Team; Christine Duncan; Mary Henderson; Brad Shumway; the Patton-Grayson Team, composed of David and Summer Patton, and Nancy Grayson; Clarann McCoy; Kindi Scartaccini; Jamie Barrere; Donna Pierce; Bridget Martin; Nell Osborn; and Sue Johnson.
