Heritage Woods of Charleston Affordable Assisted Living to Host Open Houses
Bradley, IL (PRWEB) July 23, 2013 -- Heritage Woods of Charleston -- a BMA affordable assisted living community -- will host open houses from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. Heritage Woods has held open houses every weekend in July to give area families an opportunity to view the community, meet staff and learn about the services and amenities offered there.
The community, which is located at 480 Polk Ave. in Charleston, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
"Come and take advantage of these special opportunities to see Heritage Woods and to learn about this wonderful alternative to a nursing home or struggling alone at home," says Samantha Landrus, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Charleston.

Heritage Woods combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services, says Landrus.
Residents live in private studio and one-bedroom apartments, which they furnish and decorate to their taste. Each of the apartments features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Three meals per day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and participate in activities and special events," says Landrus.
The Heritage Woods affordable assisted living community is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
