Heritage Woods of Yorkville Affordable Assisted Living to Host Country Fair

The community, which is located at 242 Greenbriar Rd. in Yorkville, Illinois, serves older adults who need some help to maintain their independence.
“We are excited to host our country fair, and we look forward to the community joining us for another great time at Heritage Woods,” said Lisa Martinez, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Yorkville.
A magician and clown will wow guests with their tricks. A petting zoo and face painting is available for children – and the young at heart.
Hot dogs, popcorn, barbecue and other snacks will be served. The fair is open to the public; there is no charge to attend.

Heritage Woods of Yorkville is the only community in Kendall County that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. The affordable assisted living community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., of Bradley, Illinois.
“We provide older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” says Martinez.
The community combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services.
Residents live in private apartments that they furnish and decorate to their tastes. Each of the studio and one- bedroom floor plans include a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually- controlled heating and air conditioning, and emergency alert system.
Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Meals, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
“Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and participate in activities and special programs,” says Martinez.
BMA Management, the company that operates Heritage Woods of Yorkville, is the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.
