Hernandez Insurance Agencies Plans “New Leash On Life” Charity Drive to Rescue Animals and Assist Veterans in Northern Virginia
McLean, VA (PRWEB) August 18, 2017 -- Hernandez Insurance Agencies, a northern Virginia firm that offers asset protection services and financial consultations to communities throughout the greater DC region, is inaugurating a “New Leash On Life” charity initiative in conjunction with Semper K9 with the goal of rescuing local animals and training them to be companions for veterans in need.
The Semper K9 organization works to improve the quality of life for veterans facing psychiatric and mobility challenges by pairing them with specially trained companion dogs. These dogs are often neglected, abused, or unwanted, and are initially rescued from local shelters where they often face euthanasia policies.
