HGR 18th Anniversary Sale Includes Huge Bargains, Monster Robots, Lunch, Raffle, Prizes and Battlebot Demo
Euclid, Ohio (PRWEB) April 22, 2016 -- HGR Industrial Surplus Inc. will celebrate its eighteenth anniversary on April 28 with a huge sale and robots to match, along with food, prizes and a battlebot demonstration by the Euclid High School robotics team.
“We wanted to make this a fun anniversary celebration to reward our customers for our success and give back to the community that has supported us throughout the years,” said Matt Williams, chief marketing officer at HGR.
The anniversary sale, featuring discounts of up to 50 percent, will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will offer bargains on hundreds of used industrial surplus items displayed throughout the company’s 12-acre showroom.
A complimentary catered lunch from Nosh Box will be available for all customers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Customers will also receive one raffle ticket for every $100 spent for a chance to win Indians tickets, a lawnmower, gift cards and store credit.
At 11 a.m., the Euclid High School robotics team will demonstrate the battle robot it built to compete – with HGR’s sponsorship – in the AWT RoboBots competition on April 30 at Lakeland Community College.
To add to the fun, the huge sale will also pair up with some huge robots. Clevelander Tim Willis will show off one or more of his monstrous robots, including a 16-foot-tall, 4,000-pound Transformer robot that can walk down the street and a 12-foot-tall robotic dog. The self-described “self-taught mechanical engineer and fulltime showman” may also display his two-headed dragon on wheels that boasts a 20-foot wingspan.
HGR Industrial Surplus is one of the country’s largest resellers of used and surplus industrial equipment.
