Hidden Hearing Support Music and the Deaf for July and August
(PRWEB UK) 12 July 2013 -- Hidden Hearing will be donating a £1 per hearing test carried out at their branches during July and August towards charity Music and the Deaf.
Music and the Deaf helps people within the UK with hearing difficulties as well as those who live and work with them, to enjoy music.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Whittaker OBE, who himself is profoundly deaf, the charity promotes and encourages music with and for deaf people across the UK - maintaining that deafness is no barrier to music.
The charity provides deaf children with the chance to meet together, learn about music as well as compose, play and perform their own pieces. They also run workshops for people of all ages and degrees of deafness.
A spokesperson for Hidden Hearing said:
“Hidden Hearing is proud to support Music and the Deaf and we hope that customers support this wonderful cause by booking their free hearing test at one of our branches across the country. For every hearing test carried out, we’ll be donating a £1 to this wonderful charity.”
