High School Student Seeks Revenge After Twin Brother is Murdered by Bullies in New Novel
MENTOR, Ohio (PRWEB) February 26, 2016 -- Lillian Williams and her twin brother, Anthony, have been through thick and thin, but as Lillian tries to surprise Anthony with an 18th birthday present, she discovers something horrible instead. Finding her brother’s body in the school bathroom, Lillian knows that the bullies that have been harassing him for months are responsible. However, Anthony’s death is ruled a suicide and justice is far from served.
In “I’m Back and with Revenge: You’re Gonna Wish You Didn’t Mess with Me” (published by Archway Publishing), Lillian runs away during winter break to plan her revenge. While away, she meets a charming guy who helps transform her into a strong woman prepared to place the bully’s heads on a silver platter. When Lillian returns to school to carry out her plan, she finds she will first have to fight someone from her past in order to avenge her brother.
Young author Michelle Lucic crafted her debut novel with the subject of bullying at the forefront. “Ever since I was four I've been a victim of bullying, and the encounters with bullies scaled from physical to mental/emotion pain,” she says. “Writing this book was my therapy, as well as a way to help people understand how bullying affects other people through a character in a book instead of a textbook from school.”
Through her work, Lucic’s hope is that her readers will “see that suicide isn't the answer when it comes to bullying. Try to find your own therapy. Whether it be art, music, writing, sports, or something as simple as watching YouTube videos.”
