Higher Ratings on SOR Inc. 1710 Compact Level Switch
Lenexa, Kansas (PRWEB) May 02, 2014 -- The redesigned 1710 compact level switch is now available with pressure ratings to 1500 psi and temperature ratings to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition to the increased operating ranges, approvals from CSA (US and Canada), ATEX and IEC have been added to meet OEM demands.
A side mounted, explosion proof mechanical level switch, the new 1710 is suitable for plant and OEM applications where open or closed contacts are required to signal presence or absence of liquid at a discrete level. The float is magnetically coupled with the switch mechanism to reliably actuate (de-actuate) the microswitch without the use of internal seals.
