HighTower Brings Furniture Design to New Heights in Fall Product Launch
Kansas City, Mo. (PRWEB) October 04, 2016 -- HighTower Group today announced its fall 2016 product launch. In keeping with HighTower’s commitment to bringing international designs to North American architects and designers, the launch features furniture from Swedish design group Form Us With Love,Spanish design group Ondarreta, and San Francisco-based design group Most Modest.
“HighTower is dedicated to offering fresh interior products built for today’s environments. We do this in partnership with talented designers from around the world. With this launch, our design partners explored the role of height in modern furniture design. Each concept takes the best parts of tradition and adds forward-thinking design elements, ultimately building pieces around the way people interact with one another,” said HighTower’s president Rob Bensman.
The products in the Fall launch include:
Breck Collection- Designed by Most Modest
The Breck collection includes a lounge chair, ottoman and two tables, all at a low-lounge height. Breck is an endlessly reconfigurable collection that fosters an open-ended environment where choice and flexibility are on-demand. Find the same distinctive details in each piece, creating a cohesive style that can also stand on its own.
Nest Collection- Designed by Form Us With Love
Nest boldly challenges the conventions of the traditional bar stool and sofa, melding the two together to create innovative upholstered high and low lounge seating.
"We analyzed the activities and behaviors of public spaces, and the upholstered furniture versus barstool seating scenario," said Form Us With Love creative director John Löfgren. "Instead of putting the two characteristics next to one another, we merged them – creating a tall vertical Nest."
The Nest collection includes lounge sofas, chairs and tables in two heights, encouraging a more social atmosphere.The high sofa and chair were specifically crafted for just the right balance of structure and elegance, creating warm, inviting and comfortable lounge seating at new heights.
Bai- Designed by Ondaretta
Beautifully versatile, Bai reinvents the modern side chair by that blending fun with sophistication. The organic seat creates a classic look in a muted palette and a playful look with color.The convex and concave curves of the seat provide high-style and comfort, while the rounded edges and curved back provide an ideal resting spot for arms.
Nadia Tables- Designed by Ondaretta
The same clean profile and timeless design of the Nadia seating collection is now available in a simple, understated table collection. Available in two heights constructed of solid beech, this stunning table collection is as functional as it is beautiful.
