Highway Equipment Acquires Scott-Gallaher Inc.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- Highway Equipment today announced the acquisition of Scott-Gallaher of Roanoke, Virginia and the integration of the Scott-Gallaher team into Highway Equipment Company Mid-Atlantic. This acquisition allows Highway Equipment to provide sales, rentals, parts and service of machinery and equipment for the construction, demolition, oil & gas, mining, quarrying, logging and other industries throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The integration of the capabilities and human resources of Scott-Gallaher into Highway Equipment Company Mid-Atlantic not only extends Highway’s service reach, but also increases their breadth of services, creating greater efficiencies and responsiveness for new and existing clients.

Scott-Gallaher, founded in 1984, conducts business throughout Virginia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee and will continue existing operations as Highway Equipment Company Mid-Atlantic.
