Hillary Susz Launches Indiegogo Campaign to Fund New Record: The Heart Will Jump (With Nowhere to Fall)
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) June 16, 2015 -- The Heart Will Jump (With Nowhere to Fall) are a compilation of Susz’s most poetically and musically ambitious songs to date, with songs rich with instrumental and poetic virtue. Accompanied by some of Bellingham's finest musicians, including: Julianne Thoma ( of The Julianne Thoma Band) on vocals and piano, David (Swab) Lofgren (of Robert Sarizan Blake and Snug Harbor) on drums and Lyman Lipke (of Baby Cakes) on bass, these songs are entirely listenable and beautifully jarring.
Are you tired of hearing music that only features a male voice? A story between a guy and a girl? A narrative built on the foundation of a cliché? If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider contributing to Hillary Susz’s newest record. She’s a woman, a lesbian and more importantly, a disciplined writer, listener, reader and guitarist.
Susz has been performing music professionally since age 15. This is her fourth full-length record, featuring open tunings with delay and reverberated guitar effects. “Songwriting is my first and one true love, though, I also have side affairs with poetry, non-fiction and fiction,” says Susz. She holds a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Western Washington University and is a future M.F.A. fiction candidate at the University of Colorado.
The funding goal is set at a modest $2,500. This pays for studio time, mixing, mastering, the accompaniment and online and radio distribution. If she exceeds her original goal, she plans to press vinyl copies.

Everyone who pledges gets a digital copy of the record, no matter the amount. She isn’t offering a lot of perks because she strongly believes this solely about making a great record.
