To use the system, requestors provide information on desired generator characteristics such as frequency, fuel type, power rating, minimum kilowatts and phase, and a built-in database search engine evaluates the criteria and returns results that match the requestor's specifications.
With one click, the requestor can view a specification sheet on the chosen base model, then confirm the selection and customize it with options such as a sound enclosure, specific fuel tank size, appropriate transfer switch and other variables. If the requestor needs multiple units—or even a different model—he or she can regenerate and tweak the information until the quote is complete. Prior to generating the completed quote, requestors can also add their margins to the manufacturer pricing.
