HIPOWER SYSTEMS to Exhibit at Developing Unconventionals (DUG) EastConference and Exhibition in Pittsburgh, PA
(PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power generation and power distribution equipment in the U.S. and Canada, today announced it will be exhibiting at DUG East, the world’s leading event focused on unconventional resource development in the Marcellus and Utica formations. HIPOWER SYSTEMS’ exhibit will be located in Booth #569 during the event, which is taking place June 23-25, 2015, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
“The massive Marcellus shale play is extraordinary, not only because of its natural gas output but also because producers in the area have cut breakeven costs in half—from approximately $4/Mcf (million cubic feet) in 2008 to less than $2/Mcf today,” said HIPOWER SYSTEMS President Rafael Acosta.
“These producers have achieved such dramatic cost reductions through innovations in technology and efficiency—an approach that HIPOWER SYSTEMS also uses in developing its equipment. We look forward to sharing with them our latest innovations for the Oil and Gas markets.”
For the conference, HIPOWER SYSTEMS will display an array of equipment, including two of its award-winning natural gas generators, the HRNG-230 natural gas generator, which is equipped with parallel systems capability, and the HRNG-65 natural gas generator. The exhibit will also showcase several of HIPOWER SYSTEMS’ power distribution units, including a 35kVA transformer, its popular 1200A I-Line Panel and 600A Mini I-Line Panel, a six-outlet Spider Box, and one of its newest power distribution products, the 10P Panel. Rounding out the display will be HIPOWER SYSTEMS’ power cable and cable ramps.
HIPOWER SYSTEMS will also be publicizing its Natural Gas Generators and Power Generation courses, which are offered through its online HIPOWER University training program.
“The producers coming to DUG East have leveraged such inventions as pad drilling and extended horizontal fracturing to help them increase output in the face of a challenging price environment,” said Acosta. “They will appreciate the design innovation and engineering excellence that goes into every HIPOWER SYSTEMS product, and we invite them to stop by Booth #569 and learn how our products and programs can help them continue to increase output and cut costs.”
