Hitachi Cable America Inc., Offers HDBaseT Recommended Cable
Manchester, New Hampshire (PRWEB) December 18, 2015 -- Hitachi Cable America Inc., (HCA), is pleased to announce our first HDBaseT Recommended Cable, Category 7 Apogee 100 Series 3 cable. All cables recommended by the HDBaseT Alliance are tested in specific alliance test facilities to ensure all requirements set by the HDBaseT Alliance are met. HCA’s Category 7 Apogee 100 Series 3 cable is designed to deliver maximum throughput up to 100 meters for today’s and tomorrow’s applications. The individually shielded pairs and overall shield are designed for better PoE heat dissipation, ensure optimum signal transmissions and deliver exceptional noise immunity. Its construction allows it to accommodate industrial Ethernet, high-temp PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) up to 95 watts, HDBaseT 5Play and future high-speed Ethernet applications including 10 gigabit Ethernet. HDBaseT and HDMI applications, when terminated with specific market available shielded RJ45 connectors, have demonstrated outstanding 1080p and 4K performance on field test equipment. IEEE has adopted HDBaseT as its ultra-high definition digital standard under IEEE 1911. The benefits of this standard are the delivery of the latest data/video applications including 4K video, audio, USB, Ethernet and control signals, on familiar (but enhanced) twisted pair cable technology.
