HMHP Cancer Centers Offer Informational Dinner Program
Youngstown, Ohio (PRWEB) March 10, 2014 -- Humility of Mary Health Partners will present a free dinner presentation about colorectal cancer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 29 at The Fifth Season restaurant, 1400 Niles-Canfield Road, Mineral Ridge.
Colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States for both men and women. About 50,000 Americans die from the disease each year and more than 140,000 new cases are diagnosed.
Dr. Jawad Francis, medical oncologist, and Dr. Marie Awad-Alexander, general surgeon, will discuss risk factors, signs and symptoms of the disease as well as ways to reduce the risk of developing colorectal cancers.
