HNTB Corporation Names Tony Gonzales as Los Angeles-Area Office Leader and West Division, Architectural Practice Leader
Los Angeles (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- Tony Gonzales, AIA, LEED AP, has rejoined HNTB Corporation as vice president, Los Angeles-area office leader and architectural practice leader for the West Division. He is located in the firm’s downtown Los Angeles office.
In his new role at HNTB, Gonzales uses his considerable architecture, engineering and construction management expertise to develop strategic business objectives promoting the firm’s growth in the region. He also leads the design performance and operation management divisions for the firm’s architectural practice in the West.

In his former role with HNTB, he served as office leader, principal in charge and architect of record on many complex projects for many of the region’s transportation-related agencies, including Los Angeles World Airports, Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Metrolink, the City of Los Angeles and the University of Southern California.
Gonzales earned a Bachelor of Science from California Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has a professional license in architecture, and he has Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Gonzales also is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Urban Land Institute, American Public Transportation Association, U.S. Green Building Council and the World Future Society.
Nationwide, HNTB is celebrating its 100th Anniversary throughout 2014.
