Chemnitz, Germany (PRWEB) December 04, 2013 -- CatchApp, the easiest way for a manager to catch up with everything their team is working on, has officially launched in North America in the App Store.
Business leaders spend a lot of time and energy coordinating and tracking progress of their teams or groups. CatchApp allows managers to get an overview when work is spread out across different apps and includes multiple people. CatchApp makes this very easy by automatically creating reports on recent team activity.
CatchApp is a newsfeed for work. With lists the user can filter what is shown based on chosen criteria. These would include certain tags, folders, notebooks, etc. Lists provide a way to organize tracking for different projects. CatchApp sends push notifications for any new update on a list. This can be toggled on or off for each list.
CatchApp focusses on productivity apps used by small and medium sized companies. It integrates with more than 15 apps for multiple use cases, such as file management (Dropbox, Google Drive, Box), task management (Trello, Pivotal Tracker), office (Google Calendar, Evernote Business, Desk), and development (Github, Bitbucket). There's even support for Twitter to monitor tweets from a certain account or a defined search term. To integrate other apps there is a universal RSS plug.
"We realized that there was a fast-growing and very active group of people using our existing team collaboration app Hojoki to monitor what their team has been up to recently,” said Martin Bohringer, CEO of CatchApp’s parent company Hojoki. “Users found that Hojoki's newsfeed worked great for them. With CatchApp we've given them their own app that is custom built for their needs."
CatchApp is freely available worldwide via the App Store. CatchApp's pricing is based on the number of updates you receive. Each month the first 100 updates are free, which is enough for most users, while a premium package is available for $4.99 a month (or $49.00 a year) that allows for unlimited updates. There is also a referral program that gives you free bonus updates each month. Premium users also can directly reply into existing conversations from within CatchApp and have access to the premium integrations Evernote Business, Trello Organizations and Desk.
